A hub for serious classical art and artists

ARC Approved Atelier™ Gold Light Studios is now the Bucks County Classical Arts Center. The atelier program started by John Murdoch has established itself as the place to learn in the style of the old masters in Bucks County Pennsylvania. The name has changed but the heart of the program remains: drawing from life!

In addition to its rigorous atelier program, The center now offers guest lecturers, intensive weekend and evening courses and more.

"The original atelier program and school has evolved into a non-profit arts center so we could enlist the help of the public and bring this fantastic lineage to a greater number of people," says founder John Murdoch, "a place where like-minded people come to work, learn, improve, get inspired by each other, and have a really good time doing it."

The Center is in the heart of historic New Hope about an hour outside Philadelphia and New York City and near Princeton, NJ. The program is rigorous, the atmosphere friendly and supportive, and the location is perfectly situated to carry on the great tradition of Bucks County Artists.
